Description

This training will focus on how to evaluate and provide treatment for children who are being evaluated for physical and/or sexual abuse. The focus will be on identifying components of the medical evaluation of child sexual abuse; along with using a multidisciplinary approach to care for child sexual abuse victims.

Ann Lenane,MD

Ann Lenane, MD is a professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr. Lenane’s interests include recognition of risk factors for child abuse and prevention through education of health care providers and families, along with assessment and treatment of mental health conditions as part of child abuse evaluation and treatment.
