CEI Services
The New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute Clinical Education Initiative (CEI) is designed to meet the educational needs of HIV providers throughout New York State by:
- Offering clinically relevant, up-to-date education and training on current topics in HIV
- Connecting providers to HIV educational opportunities throughout New York State
- Responding to providers' needs for immediate assistance regarding Post-Exposure Prophylaxis and general clinical consultation through the PEP Line and CEI Line
- Providing resources and educational opportunities on the web, including webcasts, podcasts, and self-assessment tools
- Offering CME credits for participation in educational activities, both in-person and on-line
- Assisting HIV programs in developing a training plan for their faculty and staff
- Keeping providers connected to the latest clinical guidelines and public health initiatives
- Collaborating with the NY/NJ AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC) and other educational organizations to reach HIV providers across the state
